Advertising

TODO currently shows no advertising, no sponsored posts and no affiliate links.

If advertising is switched on in the future:

  • ads will be clearly labelled “Advertisement” and kept visually separate from articles;
  • there will never be more than one ad above the fold, and never an ad between an article’s summary and its first paragraph;
  • advertisers will have no influence on what we cover or how (see our editorial policy);
  • the privacy page will explain what the ad provider collects, and where required you will be asked for consent first.

TODO(human): finalize this page before enabling ads.
